Clinical therapist will provide outpatient individual therapy to patients of Waypoint Counseling & Maternal Wellness, PLLC either in person or via Telehealth. Due to the volume of referrals we receive, we anticipate your caseload to get full quickly.

We are looking for fully licensed applicants in NC that can be paneled with major insurance companies. We will assist with the credentialing process. If you are close to being fully licensed you will also be considered.

Minimum Qualification Requirements: 

• Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Social Work, PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LCMHC.

• Active, unrestricted license in the State of North Carolina (priority given to fully licensed candidates).  

• A copy of license must be provided to Waypoint Counseling & Maternal Wellness, PLLC.

 

Other Qualification Preferences:

• At least two years’ experience working in mental health field.

• Experience working in maternal health setting.

• Training in perinatal mental health, certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C), working towards PMH-C exam, or willingness to get training within one year of employment.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• On-site or Telehealth clinical counseling services to patients of Waypoint Counseling & Maternal Wellness, PLLC as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.  

• Abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Waypoint Counseling & Maternal Wellness, PLLC.

• Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, OB/GYN, psychiatrist, etc.) as necessary.

• Timely completion of written records including, but not limited to intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes. 

• Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings

• Conduct and regulate counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of Waypoint Counseling & Maternal Wellness, PLLC.

• Other duties which may be assigned by Waypoint Counseling & Maternal Wellness, PLLC.

 

Work Hours:

• Minimum 20 sessions/week for full time and 12 sessions/week for part time with flexible scheduling (We will tailor your schedule to your needs as long as contact hour requirement is fulfilled).

• Weekends and Evening hours are not required but are available upon approval from the owner/CEO.

• Autonomy over own schedule. 

• In-person and Telehealth sessions will be conducted in the office of Waypoint Counseling & Maternal Wellness, PLLC unless otherwise specified and approved by owner/CEO.
