Jimmy Smedley

Jimmy brings more than 15 years of executive leadership in biotech and healthcare services to his role as Chief Business Officer at Waypoint. His career has included serving as President & COO of Altis Biosystems and holding senior leadership roles through Vice President at KBI Biopharma, where he helped guide teams through periods of rapid growth and scale-up.

At Waypoint, Jimmy oversees the business operations that support the practice’s mission, focusing on building strong systems and strategies so our skilled clinicians can devote their full attention to delivering exceptional care in maternal mental health and family wellness.

Outside of Waypoint, Jimmy enjoys spending time with his family through outdoor adventures, boating, fishing, hiking, and Scouting.  He is passionate about creating strong foundations—in organizations, families, and communities—that help people thrive and stay true to what matters most.
