postpartum therapist near me

Jeanie is a graduate student intern pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in Somatic Counseling at Prescott College. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2011 and, after a decade in business consulting, felt called to return to her passion of supporting mental health and well-being in her community. Having experienced the demands of corporate life herself, she understands the stressors of modern life and the challenges of maintaining balance, which deepens her ability to connect with clients navigating similar pressures.

Jeanie is committed to creating a safe, compassionate, and affirming space where clients feel truly seen and supported. She views therapy as a collaborative partnership, drawing from Person-Centered approach and integrating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as Somatic Counseling.

With a neuroscience-informed lens, she helps clients understand how the brain and body respond to stress, as well as trauma, and how mindfulness practices and nervous system regulation build self-awareness, clarity, and resilience to navigate life’s challenges.

A certified yoga instructor since 2013, Jeanie incorporates breathwork, mindful movement, and meditation in a trauma-sensitive and accessible way. She has supported a wide range of clients, including perinatal populations, athletes, cancer patients, children, and seniors—honoring the unique cultural and personal factors shaping each person’s journey. She brings warmth, curiosity, and humor to her work, helping clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and show up as their fullest selves.
