This interactive training introduces participants to the core principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Through a combination of brief lectures, experiential exercises, and real-play practice, participants will explore the six core processes of psychological flexibility and learn how to apply ACT interventions to support clients.
By the end of the workshop, attendees will be able to:

Define the purpose and goals of ACT treatment.

Describe the six core processes of psychological flexibility.

Differentiate ACT from other modalities, including CBT.

Demonstrate basic ACT interventions and techniques.
This training is designed to be experiential, practical, and supportive, offering participants tools they can immediately integrate into their clinical work with parents and families.
