Brittney is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in North Carolina. She has experience utilizing evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and mindfulness-based interventions, as well as advanced training in perinatal mental health.

Brittney works with individuals navigating infertility, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, anxiety, depression, identity shifts, and the emotional complexities of parenthood. As a mother who has personally experienced postpartum depression, Brittney brings both professional knowledge and lived understanding into the counseling space.

Additionally, Brittney works with children and adolescents navigating emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and relational stress. She is especially passionate about helping children and teens understand their feelings in ways that feel safe, creative, and empowering. She believes that behavior is often a child’s way of communicating unmet needs or big emotions. In therapy, she helps young clients identify, name, and regulate their feelings while building confidence and emotional resilience. Sessions may include play-based techniques, expressive activities, storytelling, and interactive tools that make it easier for children to open up and process their experiences.

For adolescents, Brittney provides a supportive space to explore identity, manage anxiety, strengthen coping skills, and improve communication with family members.

She also partners closely with parents and caregivers, offering practical strategies for emotional coaching, connection, and co-regulation. Brittney believes that when families feel supported, children thrive.
She is passionate about helping families build healthier patterns of connection and emotional understanding.
