Ali seeks to create a space where people feel safe, comfortable, and heard. She welcomes the opportunity to work with folks of all backgrounds and identities. Ali approaches clients with warmth and a strengths-based perspective while also providing practical guidance and techniques. Ali is trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, and she incorporates elements of these modalities tailored to you and your goals.
She was inspired to work specifically with people experiencing perinatal mental health concerns after facing her own challenges during pregnancy and motherhood. Ali benefited greatly from working with a perinatal mental health counselor herself and hopes to now “pay it forward” by helping others navigate similar challenges of fertility, pregnancy, and parenthood.
