Shana Sobhani

MSW, LCSW-A

ADHD

Shana is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate dedicated to supporting individuals and families through all stages of the perinatal and parenting journey. As a parent herself, she deeply understands the complex and often conflicting emotions that can arise during these transitions. Shana approaches each person’s experience with gentleness, acceptance, and genuine understanding.

She offers a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can share their story, explore their emotions, and build tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and self-compassion. Shana is committed to helping individuals process their experiences, strengthen emotional resilience, and nurture meaningful connections with themselves, their partner, and their family.

In addition to her perinatal and parenting work, Shana has experience supporting survivors of sexual violence. She understands the profound impact trauma can have on mental and emotional well-being, as well as on one’s experience of parenthood and family life.

Shana creates a warm, inclusive, and safe environment where individuals feel empowered to bring their full, authentic selves. Her therapeutic approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, somatic practices, parts work, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Grounded in a trauma-informed perspective, Shana believes in walking alongside her clients—following their lead and honoring their pace on the path toward healing and growth.
