Rachael Tilley

MSW, LCSW-A

perimenopause

Rachael began her counseling career in Texas, working with birth mothers and adoptive families in both domestic and international adoption. Through this work, she gained valuable experience supporting families navigating grief, infertility, attachment, and bonding.

Rachael brings curiosity, compassionate care, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. She believes that past experiences and relationships leave lasting marks that shape who we are—but that they do not have to limit our ability to heal and create new patterns that can lead to a meaningful and fulfilling life. She strives to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered in a shared process of reflection and growth.

Her personal journey into motherhood included struggles with conception, breastfeeding challenges, and a postpartum mood disorder. These experiences, combined with her professional background, have fueled her passion for maternal mental health and her desire to support women through all phases of their journeys, including providing support through infertility, the complex transition to motherhood, postpartum anxiety and depression, parenting children with disabilities, and other challenges that arise during the perinatal period.

Rachael creates a tailored approach based on the unique strengths and goals of each individual client. She draws from a variety of trauma-informed therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems Theory, Internal Family Systems, and Attachment Theory. She has also completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy and is a Brainspotting Practitioner.
